I have some questions to you: can you tell me on which CDs I can find the music for these dances:
Seleneje Schito (Russia)
Poppoli Jon (Albania)
Passu Torrau (Italia – Sardegna)
Kabbalath Shabbath (Israel)
I thank you very much for your assistance.
greetings from Germany
Walter
Hi, Walter,
Most of the music that we use is from old records that we’ve converted into mp3 files. For new dances, the teachers who introduce them usually bring CDs to sell with the music. I look for old music on the internet; a lot of old folk dances are available that way. Also, the Stockton Folk Dance camp has years of choreographies for the dances that have been taught there since 1948(!). The choreographies usually contain information about the music. You can access these choreographies here.
Here is the choreography to Passu Torrau (which we’ve always called Passu Turrau). Here is a link to info about the album the music is on.
Others may have more to add…

Is there any chance I could purchase some music from you? I’m after Neda Grivne and my searching on the internet has turned nothing up. Would greatly appreciate any help!
Hi, Rachel,
I’ll send your request on to the dancer who found the music. She may be able to help you.
